WHIZ KID
A team-based intellectual competition that combines English, logic, problem-solving and teamwork.
Students compete in teams of up to three members and complete different challenges against the clock.
It is not only about what you know. It is about how quickly you can think, communicate and work together.
HOW THE GAME WORKS
Whiz Kid consists of four rounds, with each round testing a different skill.
ROUND 1 — PICTURE CHALLENGE
Teams look at pictures and use them to create compound words. There are 10 challenges, and teams work against the clock.
ROUND 2 — WORD CHALLENGE
Mixed letters and a clue are given. Teams work together to find the correct word. There are 10 challenges.
ROUND 3 — PUZZLE CHALLENGE
Teams solve 5 puzzles that test logic, attention and problem-solving. Each challenge gives the team 2 minutes to find the answer.
FINAL — CAPTAIN'S CHALLENGE
The team captain enters the final round and spells three words. The words have different difficulty levels and are worth 1, 2 or 3 points.
The final round can change everything.
